Somerset County Technology Center is a Public Vocational-Technical School, located just outside of the county seat in Somerset Township. SCTC has eight sending High Schools, in which students attend the center for one-half of the day and their home school for the other one half. A plethora of adult education opportunites, both on and off site are available to county residents.

Presently, SCTC has eight sending school districts,[3] which sends Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors from their respective High Schools to the center for one-half day to pariticipate in career workshops. Cooperative Education is also available
